Smart Communications supply a range of low cost development tools Compilers, Debuggers, Development kits and Programmers for the Microchip PIC range of Microcontrollers including the latest PIC24 and dsPIC devices. Once the product is ready, we also supply dedicated production programmers as well as our more universal production programmers

Compilers - Smart Communications can supply Compilers from several manufacturers but we prefer the CCS Compiler for its price, breadth of support and useful libraries

Debuggers - The ICD-U40 from CCS is a very low cost Debugger allowing you to set break points and single step through your code. It can also be used as a stand-alone programmer.

Development Kits - A range of boards and kits from CCS to speed you up your learning curve or get you to market faster. New version 4.0 Compiler now released.

Programmers - Dedicated low cost, single socket and gang programmers (including In System Programming support) complimented by our range of universal programmers
